Dog owners from Santa Maria to Carpinteria will soon receive a visit from county Animal Services representatives, who are on a mission to increase the number of licensed dogs in the county.
Officers are canvassing pet owners and their neighbors door-to-door, spreading the word that all dogs 4 months and older must be licensed and must wear their tag.
